Dr. Sophia Morgan

Principal

Dr. Sophia Morgan is a dedicated educational veteran with 20 years of experience, who joined the Maple Leaf Educational System in 2019. Throughout her time with us, she has excelled in various roles, including academic advisor, educational coordinator, and now as the principal of Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School – Yiwu.

Dr. Morgan firmly believes that “Education is one of the most effective tools one can use to transcend the circumstances of their birth.” This powerful conviction drives her commitment to fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning environment for our diverse student body.

Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students, helping them to rise above their circumstances and achieve greatness.

Hello from Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School – Yiwu!

At Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School – Yiwu (MLFNS – YW) our mission is to blend the best of the East and the West to provide an excellent education program that prepares students for success in the international world of tomorrow. MLFNS – YW provides an elite education for students with English as the primary language of communication. Using the guidance of Maple Leaf’s Four Core Values of “Respect, Responsibility, Hard-Work, and Honesty”, our students respect each other, trust each other, and grow together.

MLFNS – YW is a grade 1 – 12 school, with a graduate program that is recognized all over the world. We encourage an “English-Only” learning atmosphere. It’s the common language that binds all of us together while we live in Yiwu. We encourage students to read, write, speak and listen to English as much as possible in both school and home.

We are very excited to welcome students from all over the world and count over 40 nationalities in our school. On behalf of myself and the FNS staff, we welcome all backgrounds, religions and peoples to join.
