BC homeroom classes are typically small. The school averages 10 – 15 students / class
Teachers have a great degree of flexibility in the format and delivery of the BC curriculum, with an emphasis on the development of BC’s Core Competencies
ESL teachers provide support to ESL students through pull-out classes or push-in support, and work closely with the BC homeroom teachers.
Classrooms either have SmartTVs or projectors
Grade 4 – 9 students follow a 1:1 BYO-Laptop policy
The school day is from 8:45 – 4:00 pm
The FNS usually takes two week-long breaks (October and May) as well as five weeks in the Spring (Jan/Feb) and nine weeks in the Summer (July/August)
